I've seen a couple of these on Ebay over the last few months. Keep poking around there and one will show up eventually. Another option is to get a seat in nasty condition, salvage the seat pan and have it recovered.

Saw this ad on CL. Not sure if it's the seat you're looking for, but click on it and you'll get the seller's info. Reads, "2-up (FXR) ribbed seat"

It also looks like the oem seat for my 92 fxr, so there should be a bunch around.

The part number for the 92 fxr seat is 52106-86, if that helps you in your search.

I see those seats from time to time. But for the most part, they have splits at the stitching.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the part number. I ran it. No dealers have the seat. Harder to find than you think.

What is the reason you want the stock seat? Looks? Are you wanting your bike to look absolutely stock? Most guys who bought these bikes wound up changing the seat at some point.

Call me nutty, but I love the seat. Screams FXR and is easy to get on with when twistin the tail in the curves!

I know I am a bit nutty. I love that seat, too. I've kept my fxr fairly stock looking except for my saddle bags and now a set of Cycle Shack pipes. The old ones cracked after 20 years. I have a Corbin touring saddle on the bike which I use most of the time, but I also still have my original fxr seat and love to put that on and ride with it on occasionally. If is a very comfy seat and yes, good for riding in the twisties. And no, it's not for sale otherwise I would have said that earlier. I've held onto it for 21 years and it is a part of me and the bike. I never verbalized just why I couldn't part with it until you wrote your last post.

I have that seat on my '89. It is very comfortable. I just wish it was made of leather. That son of a bitch doesn't breath on a hot day.
