I think it's cool to experiment and he certainly did a nice job, but I think that engine (low speed\ high torque) should have put in a bagger type bike. Even so, that 75 mph top speed would be a killer.

My best buddy went to school to be a diesel fitter, he now works at a woman's underwear factory, he holds them up and says "diesel fitter"
As for the bike, double yuk!!!
