Hope BigPeet doesn't mind--I've already had the same idea. Not much on all the "cult" stuff. Funny talking about it--dont really want to wear it on a shirt.

I'm really digging the #1 design. Don't care if it has the word "cult" or not ... I'm used to offending gen-pop ...
Can we add that to the poll?
Also, I think large design on the back and small on the front would be awesome, weather its #1 or bar&shield.

Yeah, this one is by far my favorite now...

The Motor Company can't do **** about any of these designs because we would just be making them for us and not mass market.

I can't edit the poll section. It would have to be started over again.

I like the number one as well.

I don't mind at all. Everything on here is for everybody. It's just that it's such a low resolution you can't really make it big enough for a shirt without it looking crappy. You really need at least 300dpi to print, and you can't post it on here that big.

And Bob, I didn't think about screwing up the poll when I posted the red, white and blue number one. Sorry about that.

Funny how things work. I asked for more ideas way before the poll started and thought it had petered out. Now that the poll is going we're getting some good ideas.

Again, you don't have to draw...just give us your idea and someone can probably make it.

I could create a #1 logo like posted above in Adobe Illustrator (vector format) so it could be sized up in high res as needed. Could also be done in Photoshop (bitmap image) as well at or above 300 DPI for any type of reproduction. Let me know.

Even if the image here isn't worthy of direct to print, I've found that some shirt places have lots of art stored from previous jobs. If someone can show them pretty much exactly what they're looking for, they can search their files and often come up with at least the basis of the desired pattern. In this case, it wouldn't surprise me at all to find that at some time, some shirt shops out there had already created the HD No.1 art, and in that case it would be a simple edit to add the letters FXR to the bottom. Save money on art creation that way.

BigPeet--thanks for making the art work.

Pete,

No worries man, no need for apologies. You didn't screw it up. The whole idea was to get this rolling and try to make a decision on a logo. I like the new idea with the Number One. I only wish we were able to edit the poll. At least now it seems we've narrowed things down to 3 ideas. ??

I actually like the RWB Number One the best now. whether it says FXR or FXR-CULT. I'm a huge fan of Evel Knievel and that was the first time as a kid i saw that big number One.

I made these in 300dpi. You just can't put them on the forum that large. At least I don't know how.

If you know how, by all means do it. That way guys like FXR2 can email them directly to his printer. That's what I do, draw it 13"x19", save it at 300dpi or larger, and email it to the t-shirt guy. That way it's nice and crisp and not pixelated.

Just upload it to photobucket and post the image link.

I included it in the first post as #7 write in vote.

Photobucket is what I use, but it still compresses the image and I can't make it bigger without screwing with the resolution.

I'm going to email you a large #1 and see what you can do.

I'll put "BigPeet" in the subject line.

I don't know how hard that stuff is to do, but I'd sure like to be able to save a copy of the RWB #1 with 'FXRT', no stars, across the bottom. It might even become a tat. I realize this is outside the scope of this project, but I had to ask.
