So I think we are talking about the same. With a good report on the 6 spd,
then I need to decide if I should get it, even though I dont really need it now.

I installed that gear set (rev-tech 6 speed) Wayyyyy back in ?? 03 in my 00 FXDS TC. Built motor also 95" with lots of goodies. Never dyno'd but built after one that dyno'd 100 HP and 110 torque.
I bought the gear set at JP Cycle catalog, seems they were really proud back then 1450$ I seem to remember. May have included some other parts with that gear set?
I Installed it keeping in mind to have the shifting adjustment so it would shift UP into gear (more movement) using a little more on the adjustment then shifting Down (it would always pull into gear no issues. It did Like the little more UP a gear then down... First setting and together PERFECT...
That really was a good set up for my bike.
I Used ONLY Redline ShockProof Heavy in it and I put well over 60,000 miles on that gear set.
Back then, Baker would not warranty any of the installs that went into Harleys ,,, even when the HD dealer installs one,,,, UNLESS ShockProof Heave was put in it...
Back then there was saying about the rev-tech stuff, not holding up and calling them JUNK,, BUT I never had one problem with it..NONE...
I am a FIRM believer in Redline products and Used them all in my bikes for many fault free miles. MTL in the primary also gave me 117,000 miles on that bike USING the stock clutch... All still ran and worked good when sold and bought my 09 FLHR. Still using Redline products there. SMILE...
Hope you get that gear set and maybe mind telling me how much$$ it costing you. I have seen them as low as 950$ once...

I forgot to add,,,,The speedo shows @ 25 miles per hour when you're going 50....Exactly 1/2 of the speed... You can buy a converter BUT it is easy to get used to the 1/2 speed and remember that also is 1/2 the mileage that shows also.
