Why is my Bike Running ON Dual-Fire and Not Single fire

So many of you looked at my post about VOES and all of that. I finally got my rear wheel back from being powder coated, and i was able to time my bike.

I buttoned her upto fire it, and it still didn't fire up. Just started for a fraction of a second and died. Same symptoms before. For the hell of it, not thinking it would do a damn thing, I put my Dyna 2000 ICM into dual fire mode (I have a Twin Tech Single fire coil deal) and to my surprise the bike fired right up. I adjust the idle and all that, but am still baffled as to why it runs on dual fire, and not single fire. Thinking something isn't wired up right?

Let me know!

Thanks

Buggered cable or output from ignition module. Perhaps it's wired as duel fire as the cabling is different for th two

Do you have a link for some distructions,PDF file ? All I have are just single fire only. And there Pretty basic. Go back to basic trouble shooting. 1 check for correct battery voltage. 2check for good grounds (preform voltage drop test) 3 Check connections at all point of contact. 4 Check coil(ohms test)ref. your instructions. Thats how I would attack it. Ken
