It fits fine the tunnel is about 3/4'' too wide so youd have to get a longer bolt and spacers for the front tabs. The rear tab only has one hole so youd have to make a wider one to fit the frame's two hole. Not sure how the seat would line up with it though.

Those are superbike forks from a 1000 gsxr k7, With some machine work they can be made to fit.
They ride awesome especially if they are springed and valved
correctly for your application.

Ha, I wish. Currently collecting parts for Buell fork swap (mag rims, brakes, etc). The goal is to have the bike done by Feb. 9th as a 24th birthday gift to myself. Meanwhile this other project is getting some attention:

Damn projects...lol. I just got my Daughters' 63 Nova SS back on the road and out of my shop, decided my 70 Chevy halfton Shortbed would go on hiatus and hibernate a while so i can finally finish my Bagger and maybe make my Pops' 73 BMW R75-5 run so i can ride that once in a while. Then i read your thread and i want to find a FXR frame to start a project like yours!!! My chick goes crazy with all my damn projects....i gotta FOCUS!! LOL

I really wish this bike would have come with the seat latch and hinge. It's unbelievable how much they go for on ebay. I'm about ready to make my own at this point.

What model Ducati? I have a 96 900SS/SP, myself. Terrific bike, and has that Harley quality to it, that viseral V-Twin throb!
