Spark Plug Recommendations? 93 FXR EVO

I'm sure this will get moved, just wasn't sure where to put it.

Just looking for spark plug recommendations. Stock EVO motor 46k miles. Thought I would ask you guys first since we all ride FXR's.

Appologies to the powers that be if I started this thread in the wrong place. Seemed like a good place to start off.

If you are using stock H.D. heads then I would have to say - use autolite, screaming eagle and or u-grove plugs. If you are using screaming eagle heads then you will need to use 12 mm plugs like NGK R and or screaming eagle. The reason for 12MM plugs, screaming eagle threads are that size.
I don't like champion plugs as once they are fauled, then throw them away. I don't even use them in my small engines - mower, chain saw, etc.

Make sure you are also using a good set of 8.8 MM or higher plug wires along with a high output coil - 3.5 ohms / screaming eagle, autolite, u-grove ,etc.

IF YOU ARE PICKY ON WHAT ITEMS ARE THE BEST 4 YOUR RIDE, THEN YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO DO A LOT OF TRAIL AND EFFORTS UNTILL YOU FIND WHAT THE BEST IS FOR YOU.

Has anyone tried that "spitfire" plug or the "U" plug for their bike? Pros? Cons? Interesting thread....

ha! I'll look when I get home. I can't remember for the life of me. They came with the bike over a year ago.

My motor has stock heads. all stock as far as I can tell and what I was told. I checked the plugs during the summer and they looked fine, but have been thinking about upgrading some components to do this winter.
