What year FXR's had a hinged seat?

I have a corbin seat from an FXR that has a hinged connection and am trying to figure out what year bikes it will fit. Corbin said FXR FXR2 and FXR 3. What years do these bikes span? thanks. I didn't get on the scene until a few years ago.

Lucille, when you say 99+ does that mean 99-2009 or what? thanks for the info too.

FXR2 & 3's are '99 & FXR 4's are 2000. Sadly none were produced after that.

Thanks for the answers. 1982-2000 is the info I was looking for.

all but:
superglides had 1 piece seat, wasnt hinged
fxrps had solo saddles, not hinged.
all frames will accept hinged seats

Which ones are considered 'superglides'? My 84 FXRT, 84 FXRS, and 93 FXLR all had hinged seats.

Are you saying that the base model FXR, and it alone, is called 'Superglide'? And if so, is this true for all year models?

yes. except for 82-83 or 84 years, it was called superglide II.
because the superglide was a 4-speed non-fxr frame.
