Pro-Pipe from 98 Dyna fits perfect! Pics inside

Well I got a used Pro-Pipe the other day for $75 bucks and thoought I'd try it on the FXRS. Everybody said it wouldn't work.

It bolted right up. I just had to fab up one VERY simple bracket for the muffler. I've included pics of it.
I left the bracket red foe ease of visual identification in the picture. It is now being powder coated black.
I made it out of some 1/8" x 3/4" steel flat stock I had laying around. You could use anything similar too. About 8" long with three holes drilled in it.

Pipe looks great too.
Here are a couple pictures for everyone.

After I test ride a bit I'll install the Bub's 2" shotguns I just got too. Also from an "early Dyna". Mocked them up already and see no fitment issues with motor/tranny/frame/controls... As usual I may need to do some MINOR bracket fabbing to adapt it, but looks like almost a direct bolt on.

Not sure yet. Didn't ride it yet.
Wanted to fit and run the Bub's first because I had a feeling that I'd never bother with them after I ran the V&H if it made near the power that I keep hearing it does.

Installed the Bub's today and went for a ride... Lost a little power down low, but damn do they pull hard up top! They really sound strange though.
Not what I expected.

Think I'll go back to the V&H tomorrow and take it for a ride.
