FXR4 shift shaft sleeve obsolete-length??

Plan on installing mid controls on my recently acquired FXR4.
Apparently can't get the shaft sleeve anymore (obsolete>34671-99). Numerous sleeves available for dyna and early FXR's. Before I order another sleeve I thought I'd see if anyone knew the length of the FXR4 'sleeve'. I think the primaries are (-99) covers so they may vary from the FXR 3's & 4's??
If I remember from years ago the sleeve was a plastic tube with the o-rings on each end/ I assume it's there to keep the oil 'splash' of the shaft and migrating out the inner and outer primary covers.

The heim joint shift linkage(33779-99) is also obsolete/ I'm sure aftermarket has it OR use current Dyna?? Can someone measure there length of the OEM linkage bolt-to-bolt/ Thanks

It's not obsolete. I just bought one from Chicago Harley. Order one from them and they will deliver.

The linkage can often be found on Ebay. I believe a mid control Dyna linkage will work
