Screaming Eagle ignition module OBSOLETE

My 1990 fxrs is going through some upgrades. Ran into a problem. part number 32596-96 is the screaming eagle ignition module that is recommended in a lot of the literature I have read, but the part seems to have gone up in smoke. Listed as obsolete everywhere I look. If it's obsolete, does it have a successor, or am I SOL?

If I am not mistaken that is a fixed ignition. You would be much better off getting a good aftermarket adjustable ignition module.

I know plug and play is a sin around here, but I don't want anything that requires too much tinkering. The 1 for 1 swappability of that module was what intrigued me. Recommendations on a dual fire module that requires no wire mods and will play nice with the SE coil/wires?

Call a local HD dealer and ask them to check their world wide database for the obsolete part. Nine times out of ten they wil locate the part, and give you the phone number of the dealer that has it.
