1993 FXR-SP front motor mount

I had to do some work on my FXR and I had to remove the front motor mount and now I don't remember how the motor mount goes back together... does the large washer go under the mount or between the mount and the rubber bushing??? I am guessing under the mount.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cool FXR mtr mnt.

Hey Skydvr - on my '90 FXR, the large steel washer is at the very bottom of the rubber mount, with a single locknut butting right up against it. The motor mount itself rests on top of the frame, and is secured in place by the two short bolts and nuts. I think the crankcase bracket rests directly on top of the rubber cushion, with no washer between, secured by the one long bolt and the above mentioned lock nut. If you didn't remove the stabilizer links during your work the motor shouldn't have to need realignment, a process I won't even try to describe! Hope that helps. Peace.
