Replacing rubber mounts

I was adjusting my carb & noticed what seems like excess movement from the front engine mount. The mount under the regulator is torqued right. When I looked at the service manual it just stated to check every 2500 miles. There is no visible signs of torn or cracked rubber. Anyone know of a aftermarket replacement other than OEM?

Faast Ed is an unknown quantity at this point
I think the OEM has an upgraded version that some speak highly of.

Hey Evojoe, I'm taking my 91 in tonite to the dealer to get new Velva-ride motor mount and stabilizers installed.Should get it back Thursday and I'll give you a report.
I'm not really having any problems but the stock stabilizers are getting pretty nasty and rusty looking so replacing them with nice new polished ones.Figured might as well replace the mount too with a nice new polished one as well.

Hey Smitty33, I look forward to your report. Rusty stabilizer sounds like you've been riding at the end of winter. That was mid-april.

Evojoe, Picked the bike up yesterday and there is a noticable difference, not that I had a vibration issue before but it was noticably smoother. Not a huge amount but enough I could definatly tell. The new polished stabilizers look really trick, they also look much beefier than the stock ones.
One thing though,I wouldn't go with the polished front mount if I had it to do over. With the regulator mounted over it you can't really see it anyway so I'd just go with the black one.

Thanks for the update .I picked up a rubber mount from drag specialties. The dealer had 2 both made overseas. One was $85 the one I took home was $ 21 & change. Will see if it keeps the pipes from rubbin the frame.
