How to use single cylinder mode?

Friends:

I just got my bike and would be grateful if someone could tell me a couple things:

My Bike is a 2006 FLHTPI I think it's a Police Special.

1. How do I activate/deactivate the single cylinder "Parade" mode?
2. What does the red "P" on the dash indicate?

Thanks in advance amigos!

First, wrong forum, this one's for shovels, I believe.

Second, I think the parade mode kicks in automatically, when the heat reaches a certain point. I'm pretty sure the "P" light is for pursuit lights. I think when the motor gets hot enough the computer switches it to parade mode.

Sorry Blackjack, the forum name is FL and mine is and FL...

But thanks for information. What I really need to do is get at a manual for my bike, but since I bought it at an auction, I don't have it. Maybe though a dealer...

Thanks for chiming in!
