1981 Flh

Here is a picture of my 1981 FLH. I just got it all the way back together.

Nothing like riding a older bike.

I took it for a ride yesterday afternoon. Had a leak in the gas hose between tanks where it connects to one of the tanks. I tried to cut the hose back and reconnect it. It split and turned it to a mess. Then when I was working on it, I looked down and I was standing right in a huge red ant hill. You would have thought the gas I got all over myself would have killed the ants. It's all good now

You have/we have no idea how many of those we worked on, back in the day. 4th year of the 80" in the baggers.(S&S developed that stroked/bored(74") engine under contract for the Moco.)
If you just ride it around, and do not beat on it, it'll go for a long time.

Good job and nice bike, don't forget to enter it in the "Ride of the Month" here, I think it would do well.
