Just ordered myself some Christmas presents...

V&H slip-ons, V&H Fuelpak (yeah, I know...), and K&N kit.

I've heard this combo works really well, on a Dyna. We'll see.

Like a kid at Christmas, I had to open'em and intall'em as soon as they arrived. Can't quite get the mufflers lined up perfect (I'm anal about that kind of stuff...), but they're on. I'll keep messing with them. The fuelpak was a bear to put in. Took longer than the mufflers and k&n combined. "Programming" was a POC. All I've done is start it up since it's raining, but it sounds really goooood. Can't wait for a ride, probably a day or two after Christmas.
I'll update for anyone that cares.

The Fuel Pak shoulda been a POC by itself. What was the drawback??? Take cover off...plug it in...set values...snap throttle wide open and release...and zip tie on to ecm...DONE! WHAT HAPPENED!??? ME GOTTA KNOW!!

Stuffing everything back in so the electrical box can be bolted back in place, was the hardest part. I tried about 6 different orientations for the connectors and wire routing before I found a combo that worked. Other than that it was pretty simple. I couldn't get the test port fully back in place, but it is accessible. If anyone knows any tricks let us know.

The weather cleared a bit today so I took the opportunity to take it out for a test ride. I went less than 10 miles but I must say that I am very pleased with the results. I love the sound and it runs great. No exhaust popping that I've read so much about, which I was affraid I'd have a problem with. We'll see how it does next week during a little ride of about 50 miles or so.
I'm really excited about the results.

Went for a couple more short rides. I can't say enough about how much I love the sound and the way it's running. I was quite apprehensive about installing the fuelpak after what I've read on here, but I can't be any happier now.
If it weren't for a few positive posts about my exact, and almost exact, combo I never would've tried it. I really appreciate having places like VTF for real-world info. Thank much very you....
