Need info and opions on the Memphis Shades Windshields, I'm not a big fan of windshields but because of the price of gas I can see myself riding longer into cold weather. I'm thinking either the "Shooter or Hell Cat models" Anyone have these two windshields? Photos maybe? the shooter is only 14" high and the Hell Cat is 18" high, is that enough to make a differance? They both mount onto the handlebars and I think small enough not to distrack from the looks of the bike. Opions please

I don't have a wide glide but I do have a 05 FXDI and have a National Cycle Switchblade Shorty. It looks good for a windshield, has a lock, and is a quick detach shield. Just my opinion though.

I had a sporty that I put a slipstreamer brand windshield on and I liked it. I bought it for $150 online.

I have the HD quick release and love it. Off in 2 seconds and back on in 10 seconds. You might want to look into it. Mike

Not trying to hijack the thread but do you have the quick release that clamps to the fork tubes. I just bought one and every time I take it off the pins in the release mechanism fall out.

my wifes bike has the quick detatchable and a pin fell out at the dealer, they replaced it and said its very common.

HEY OAKSMITH I have a windvest windsceen off my lowrider used it for 2 months, I just traded my lowrider on a Electra Glide yesterday. I paid close to 300 bucks for it and will sell it for 175 plus shipping. It mounts to handlebars easy on and off., with just two screws. It is tinted small but very effective. It is in the original box and ready to go. Do a search on the windvest windscreens and check them out. Clap email me if interested dwclapper@earthlink.net
