Smart Siren Help

Hey, everybody. I'm new here, and this is my first post, and it's for help. I have a 2004 Wide Glide with the security system. I sold my 2003 Road King and took the smart siren off. I looked in the m/c catalog and saw that the part numbers for the smart siren were the same. I went to install it, and could not locate where it went. I looked for over an hour with no luck. I thought that it wouldn't be that hard to locate, but..............I know where they go on the touring models, and I have installed one on a Fatboy, but this is my first Dyna. Can anyone help?

I also have the 2004 FXDWGI. The connector is taped to the harness
located under the ECM. It's easiest to get at from the right side after battery removal. I cheaped out and installed a Radio Shack Piezzo speaker ( 104 db )
for a whopping $ 4.95. Works perfect ( except will not silence for 30 seconds
if set off accidentally )

Correct! it does go under the ecm in the electrical caddy. You can do it like biker 77 said or you can lower the electrical caddy by removing the two torx head bolts that attach the caddy to the frame. Also remove the long hex head bolt in the middle of the caddy. This will allow you to install it. I don't remember if it installs up or down or if it really matters. I do know that after I give mine a wash job the chirp sounds like a baby bird chirp until it dries out. When I get time I guess I need to figure that one out. The instructions I had for mine refered to an '03 bike and not an '04. They changed things just enough in '04 to make it a PIA to put this puppy on.
