Lowrider Handle Bar Swap

I want to switch the stock handle bars on my wife's 03 FXDL. I need something that pulls back further so she's not reaching as much... Any ideas and I'd rather not be faced with swapping cables, brake lines etc.

Hey Jim,

Take a look at the Wild One web site. They have a model of Chubby that has a 14 inch pull back designed specifically for the problem you're are trying to remedy.

They also have pictures of the bars on an FXDL. They look so good, I'm thinking of getting a set.

A few months ago, I put Wild 1 Chubbys drag bars with 8 inch pull back risers on my 03 FXDL. I'm 5'10", and the change in riding position was great; far more comfortable, particularly on long rides, than leaning forward so much with the stock set-up (and I liked being able to put the wiring inside the bars to clean-up the look of the front end). I did, however, also need to put on new throttle, idle, and clutch cables as the stock length was way too short.
