Fuel additive?

Just moved to Ramstein AB, Germany and shipped my bike. It was in a container for about 2 months...not running as well as I think it should be. Does anyone use a fuel additive? I have a 2006 Wide Glide...it was just tuned prior to shipping. Fuel here seems to be good but I have only filled up twice...had to run it empty to ship.

thanks for any advice.

I usually put in asmall amount of stabil ethanol additive. Ethanol used there? Have leaded gas there? Stabil fuel additive is very good too. If the tank was dry for 2mths, I'd guess some 'crud' dried-up in the tank. Might clean-out the tank and check everything 'downstream' in the fuel system.

There's lots of them-Marvel Mystery Oil, SeaFoam, Lucas, etc. Use them in the proper amounts.

Seafoam and a product called StarTron both have a very positive customer response to me.

Germany: avoid the bio-fuels such as E-10 indicated at the pump. All standard H-D function well on Euro 95.(except the XR 1200) A standstill of 2 months is no problem, my H-Ds stand still from end September till end March. And they start immediatly.
Many stretches of the highway (Autobahn ) allow UNLIMITED speed. Fahr, fahr,fahr...
