Stock riser bolt size

Whats up, everyone? I apologize if this question is answered somewhere else. I looked, may not hard enough, but couldn't find anything.

I have 2001 fxdl and it had 14" apes with 3.5" risers when I got it. the cables are +6 from aftermarket I believe? I recently got a pair of west coats mx t bars 10" of craigslist and want to put them on since the apes are way too tall for me (totally 17.5" bars and risers). Will the cables it has no fit without changing them? Here is a picture i'll attach for reference. ALSO, I used the stock riser bolts, i don't remember what size they were. Would i be able to use the same stock riser bolts on the mx bars or would I need a different length?

THANK YOU!

Riser bolt length should be fine. They are 1/2" x 20 threads per inch. NOT standard 1/2" x13tpi. If the cables work now, and you are going shorter, they should be fine. Good luck, I like the integral bar and riser look.

bolts

As far as your riser bolts go they are either coarse or fine thread. It depends how your new set of bars are taped. You can look inside of the id & tell if it is coarse or fine. Mostly it"s coarse. As far as your cables go i agree with other post . Length should be fine.
