Don't take this the wrong way, but with what you've spent on the mods, how close are you to the purchase price of a Street Glide?

The Switchback should have been dubbed The Road Prince, it's all about the weight difference between road &street glides and the switchback or dyna family!

speedfoos, would never take it the wrong way as it is a legitimate question and one that i am happy to anwser

in any case i am no where near the cost of a new street glide @ MSRP of $19499..

paid $15499 for my bike, fairing complete was $462 shipped, light kit was $248 + $30 for the bulbs (option on SG), oem engine guard $115 and $300 for the lowers and vents ( option on SG) which puts me at $16654..
then add $248 for the QD side plates and mounting kit, $113 for the tourpack and $69.99 for the tourpack mounting plate for another $430 (option on SG).. and a grand total of $17084..
if i decide on a radio i can add the the hogtunes MSA-1 for $280 shipped and im still under $17.4 and 100lbs less than a street glide..

plus the added ability to strip the bike to naked in about 5 minutes total..

memphis shades and the ABS black they mold in is a near spot on match to the HD factory paint..

here she is now with the Auxiliary light kit i just installed

Right on.

I would at least clear coat the batwing as black ABS plastic fade in the sunlight after a couple years.

Hey Ironbutt. I have a SB that I'd really like to put a heel/toe shifter on but so for have had no luck. I noticed that your bike doesn't have one on it either. Do you prefer just the toe shifter or have you not been able to find a heel/toe shifter either? Maybe the '13 will have one that I can order from HD. Your bike really turned out NICE. Tommy

tommy not sure if you are talking to me or not ( ironbutt?)
but as of right now HD and no other aftermarket company makes a heal toe shifter for this bike.. i do know of someone that custom made his own and it worked out great but there was quite a bit involved in the making of it.

since HD already announced the 13' accessories i wouldn't expect a heal/toe if they decide to produce one until the mid year accessories list comes out which is usually beginning of February, unfortunately though i dont think it is coming any time soon.

Bike looks really nice, but, you've put enough time and $$$$ into it to have just bought a StreetGlide to begin with.
