Street Bob bars on a Custom (FXDC)?

I like the bars on the Street Bob. Well, better than the ones on my FXDC.

Anyone change them out?

Cable/ brake line length???

I went to order a set from the HD Dealer and they said that the part number had been superceeded and there was no replacement.

Seriously?

Interesting statement from the dealer. That should mean that Street Bobs will not be coming with bars any longer. Seems there has to be a sub since the bikes still come with bars. May want to check bikebandit or one of the other oem parts places to see what their parts diagrams show. Personally, I like the stock bars on my FXDC, as I have neck problems and raising my arms on higher bars hurts... tp

My dealer was able to give me part numbers and prices on the bars, factory sb brake lines and throttle /idle cables. The whole deal was under $300.

When I bought my SuperGlide I had the dealer order me the bars, throttle cables, brake line and clutch cable. I got %15 off at purchase, so it only cost me about $250, and I did the install. The bars are great.

Those look great. Wish I could ride with with them. Are your hands at or below shoulder height? Are they the same height as a stock SB?

They are a little lower than my shoulders, and they are very comfortable for me. I ordered 2012 Street Bob parts, so it sits just like a 12 SB.

Dud you have to extend your wires, I ordered the parts but gave not received them yet so I haven't attempted the install.

I didn't have to extend the wires. There is alot of slack under the gauge housing. The SB bars are internaly wired too, which is nice.
