Wide Glide Suspension upgrade needed

Lets talk about Dyna suspension. My 04 Wide Glide is 100 percent dressed out to tour (I call it my Road King wanna be). Any and all long distance hauls most of which or atleast half are 2 up with the wife. I'm 6' 210 she's 5'9 135. The current stock set up in OK to say the least. There are several times during any particular trip where a pot hole or speed bump of some type will rear its ugly head and the bike bottoms out sometimes quite hard. It doesn't seem to do any damage to the bike but man what a pain in the ass literally.

Soliciting feedback from knowledgeable folks with input along these lines.

Kinds of shocks, Brand names, model numbers, anything that I can do to replace the current stock setup.

Other than this the bike is a true joy and I have no other problems with it at all.

shocks

"progressive" heavy duty, front and rear, if your still using the stock original shocks they are worn while your at it i bet your fork stem bearings need changing, lubed and fall away adjusted at least, these 3 things work together to make a smooth ride. Heavy duty if you pack often as your weight alone is near max. cost the same. great bang for the buck. i get mine from one stop moto on the web. bout 500$, low end, all up from there.....MY FIRST REPLY .. !!
