06 + Battery Cover on 05 - Dyna

Anyone put the newer style 06 and later battery cover on a 05 or earlier bike??

Great Question,
I purchased the same battery cover as in your pic and it looks like it just doesn't belong. I've considered getting an adhesive medalian to put on it but that may even look worse. I have the chrome fuse cover with the band and a matching battery cover would be great.
