09 Dyna motor vibration

I have a new 09 Dyna Fat Bob and after the dealer replaced a broken front cylinder exhaust stud there is a new vibration or call it rough acceleration issue. The dealer has checked it over and say on there test rides that they did not notice any abnormal vibrations or running conditions. But I can defiantly feel a difference from before they worked on it to fix the broken the stud. It just doesn't feel as smooth on acceleration now as it did before. The first time I brought it back they say they re set? the mixture sensors because the front cylinder was 10% different then the back. And now the second time I brought it back they say they checked all engine mounts, checked for exhaust and intake leaks, checked for engine codes ?, Tires, re torqued exhaust pipes and corrected front engine mount clearance. I loved riding my new bike before and now it is not as fun. If any one can help or have any ideas I sure would appreciate it.
Thanks

If they took the exaust off to fix the stud,it might be not aligned properly putting it in a bind. You have to fit it up and tighten it in a certain order acording to the instruction that came with my Cobra 2 to 1. I didn't follow them the 1st time and had to a reinstall.

How did you manage to break the stud on a new bike?

Don't have a clue. I was riding on a nice day and made a stop. Then when I started back up again I heard the leak pulled over and noticed the broken stud.

Ok, had the dealer re mount the exhaust pips twice, changed the spark, plugs, re-set the mix sensors and even re-balance both tires. It does seem a little better but I still feel more vibration than there used to be at high speeds. Any ideas?

Heat shields

Since it started after the exhaust stud change it is more then likely not a coincidence and is related. This is a long shot but I've seen it happen...Pull off the exhaust heat shields and go for a ride. Trust me on this, you have nothing to lose. See if it goes away. Rick

I'm a bit curious about them "adjusting the mix sensors". What in the heck is that? I'm not aware of such a component. O2 sensors maybe, but those aren't adjusted. The map is, but I doubt a dealer would do more than a generic download.

Check to make sure your exhausts or brackets are not touching the frame at acceleration. Get someone to help you. Is it isolated to one side or the other?

Do you have a service manual? Check the section on vehicle alignment. The last part of that section talks about engine vibration. After the vehile is aligned, you loosen all the mounts and let the engine run for 5 seconds, then tourque the mounts to 25 ft. lbs.
If it's out of spec, I'd bet thats what broke your exhaust stud!
