Sputhe positrac

Does anyone know where to buy Sputhe positrac stabilizer for Dyna, preferably in a webstore or something like that on the net. For oversea shipping. Hard to reach Sputhe engineering by mail and the phone hours are in my "middle of the night".

Thanks!/Dan

Thanks

Thanks C-cat,

I've looked at the true-track and the positrack, and find the positrac a bit "neater".

True-track, I belive, has a webshop for ordering the pieces, but I I'd prefer the sputhe posi-trac if I get hold of them.

Did you get your true-trac mounted and if, what is your opinion?

Regards/Dan

yes, it's on the bike. i only rode it from my shop home only about 15 minutes. seem to be correcting myself less leaning into a curve. did the super brace at the same time. i'll have to give it a try on a good ride if it warms up some this week.

There seems to be only a couple people manning the phones at sputhe but they are nice laid back California folks. They only ship COD, don't know how that works with overseas shipping. Ask them to put the instructions in the box, otherwise you'd probably not get them. They will sell you the front half separately, which does 95% of the work and saves you 50% $$. It is easier to fit an oil cooler with the sputhe than the tru-track and I think the sputhe looks better, less obvious. They both function the same. It tightened up the "wallowing" on my fatbob, I have significantly more confident in the handling now. The oil cooler pretty much hides the stabilizer on my bike.

Sputhe seems to go in and out of production during the year, sometimes you need to wait a month for the stabilizer.

i like my true track, conversation with sputhe soured me using any of their products. true trak employs handicap people for packaging and assembly, very good people. good company.

yes the true track people are very nice! had problems on the install at first and one phone call later all was good. allen sputhe actually was the person that had returned my call at sputhe, like i said earlier i was busy at work and didn't get to call. 38* here at the moment, going to wait until hits 43* and go for a short ride.

well, i rode 150 miles today temps between 48*-51* wasn't to bad. i never knew how loose my bike was before, not anymore. no more of that shimmy when coming out of corners and letting off the gas. bike feels rock solid, and precise is the word that comes to mind. i can tell you now the fork springs are what the bike now needs most. front end really dives when letting off after hard acceleration and braking, the back shocks don't feel too bad, and brakes well if the front end is diving i don't need to be getting on the brakes any harder. once i adress the brakes, shocks, and forks the bike should handle nicely. so i have to give a thumbs up to the true track and super brace upgrades.

i don't have a problem with my oil cooler it's on the left side downtube where it cools better, doesn't pick up road grime and rocks from the tire, and the true track plates look good on a black streetbob and hide the links.
