Tomorrow I pick up my Street Bob

Okay so New to me 06 Street Bob and venture down the path of learning the ins and outs of another bike.

So I guess I can now join ranks here as well as the Sportster bunch as I am keeping that one too.

Any words of advice on this one? Need to upgrade exhaust and solo seat for sure.

Nice bike but I don't like the flat paint. If you're gonna do pipes get Vance & Hines, they are sharp looking and sound great. The Thunderheader is ugly as sin, reminds me of a *** bike pipe.

Nice buy. 06 was the first year the forward controls went from a 30 minute job to a couple hour job. You have to remove the primary, so just be warned.

Congrats. I have an '08 SB in Red Denim and love it. Added Boss Bags and a luggage rack.

Are those Boss Bags?

Thanks for all to congrates and comments. After a record 2hr and 45 minute round trip and very little traffic delay it is home.

It has been lowered in the rear 2 inches so it is plenty comfy, stock seat ins't too bad, the stock exhaust sounds like a metric and quiet as can be for a HD.

Seeing as I committed to the deal after only seeing two pictures it does have some flaws that will need to be addressed....Like a winter of cleaning 14,000 of grime off it (light grime but still). It appears that someone had a few issues of forgetting to put their feet down at a stop, lost their footing or maybe forgot the jiffy stand as it has been dropped a time or two....Mild cosmetic stuff.

The Bags are HD and I am not sure who make Boss bags but they do kinda grow on you after a while.

I have even been told to Keep the Leather Fringe grip covers.

All things considered I don't think a bad buy for $8,000.00

I am not sure if the Street Bob has a wider rear tire/fender but I don't remember Dyna's looking this HUGE.

Now what to do with 2 Harley....Good thing I don't have to justify them to anyone other than me.
