carb or fuel Injected

i am looking for a carb.ed tank for a super glide. how do you know if the tank is for a carb or a F.I.?

I take it the tank is for the 99 FXD thats in your profile. The FXD did not get the EFI option until the 04 model and those tanks will not fit. If I remember correctly 95 to 03 tanks will fit a 99 model and none of those were fuel injected. Hope this helps.

You can also tell just by looking at the tank, if you don't know what year it is.

On the EFI models... there is a big rectangular hole on the top of the tank. That's where the fuel pump is lowered in. There's usally a console/dash thing covering it up, which is why you don't see it.
