ame chopper kit on 01 fxdl

i am a newbie to the forum but have been riding for years .my question is i am thinking of putting a 14 degree 6inch over or a 9degree 4inch over on my lowrider does anyone have any experience with these kits or others ,how much ride quality is effected they claim the trail should be fine either choice .any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Traditional wisdom is, if you want it done right, do it right. Find a bike builder to cut and rake your frame properly.

Other than that, that kit looks pretty good...look at seeger cycle's kit too

I put an AME 14 degree plus with 6 " over on my 06 FXDCI about 2 years ago, been riding lots of miles since then. The bike is rock steady in any high speed. Tend to fall away a little in *very* low speeds and slow turning. But I really like the look of it.

My front end is an AME Chopper kit, Its 14 degree rake Wide Glide with 8 inch over tubes.
