mid-glide triple trees

I found a set of mid-glide triple trees on craigslist. $350.00 or best offer. The seller lists them for a 00-03. Does anyone know if they will work with my 05 Super Glide?

thanks,
KrustyTC

The 05 OEM triple tree consists of a 87 and 90 P/N...so I see no reason why the 00-03 would be any different. The chrome triple tree kit from HD says it fits 90-05 models. HTH's.

The trips themselves will probably fit fine. But remember, a mid-glide conversion also needs a longer axle, brake disk spacer, and fender spacer. If this is a full kit, it's axle may not fit your lower legs. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the axle went from 3/4" to 1" in '04.

It's advertised as a full kit, axle included. Once we confirm what size axle the 04-05 came with I can email him and ask him what size the kit has.

Thanks for all the replies,

I didn't think about that...yes the 04-05's do have the 1" axles.
