new 2010 street bob : V-Twin Forum: Harley Davidson Forums

Hey all,
i recently purchased a 2010 street bob ( 2 1/2 weeks ago), denim black (pics to follow). Love this bike! I have owned klr650, klx250, goldwing,boulevard c-50t and several other bikes in the last 10 years...This is my first Harley...and this one is a blast to own/drive! So far i installed forward controls, mustang seat, iso grips, removable windshield, heel-rests.You guys here on this forum are awesome, so my question is this:

i want to add v & H big radius 2 in 2 and air breather...i also need the 1000 mile check-up done (approx. 1350 miles so far)...i just arrived in Reno and know no one here to work on bikes...went to harley and they seemed like high-pressure salesmen who just wanted to sell..sell..sell... anyone know a good mechanic here that can add my pipes, do the check-up and tune bike correctly? Any one know about street rider of reno on Market street? Thanks in advance...and keep up the great work on this forum

Can't help with a mechanic but I will say you will love the Street Bob. I have an '08 in Red Denim.

Picked up an 08 street bob this spring. Great bike. I am sure you will enjoy yours as well. Look forward to seeing the pics.

I have an '07 and love it. Adding the forward controls...slip ons will be next. The Mustang day tripper is on the list too. Enjoy.

I just an 06 Black Denim SB and have been cleaning and replacing little thinks here and there. I was even thinking of ditching the bags
but I think they set it off and make it different.

I was thinking the all black was too much but it grows on ya. One hottie already told me it is one of the sexiest Harley's she has seen

So where are your pictures so I can see how much more cleaning I need to do.

Congratulations on your Street Bob. I bought a 09 in June. I'm in North Carolina so no advise for mechanics in Reno. I did want to tell you I added V&H Big Radius 2 into 1 black and love the look, sound, and performance. Have fun!

from what it appears that shop in reno looks decent, best of luck to ya with the bike.
