Made me some new vent lines....
I was tinkering around while I had the inner primary off (putting chrome one on) and made me some new vent lines for the tranny cover. I got the stuff at work and it's all 316L stainless steel. Should hold up just fine.
I think they look much better than the stock rubber ones.

I can easily give you guys the list of parts I used to make this with. The big thing is, welding up the mitered 90 degree elbow. I had the guys at the shop do it for me and then had our polishing department take care of the rest. I got maybe 30 bucks in it all.

Answering claydbal question.
I was away from motorcycles for a long time and did not know all the Harley models. I saw this FXDX on the dealers floor and really liked it, red and all. The price was right so I bought it. When I got the bike home I noticed that it looked like a dirt bike and very one that saw it said, I didn't know Harley made a dirt bike. You could almost see the top of the rear tire and the bike was way to high and very uncomfortable to ride. I did a lot of mods on this scoot and now it fits me like a glove.
Yes, it is a FXDX and I know that a lot of Super Glide Sport fans hate me for bastardizing it, but hay, who's making the note every month, right. The bike we bring home from the dealer is just the canvas to spark our imagination.
If you like to see before photos check out my Blog.

Hey, you got to make it "yours" or why bother. Being "individualistic" is suppose to be part of the HD mystic after all.
I have received a few comments on mt RK project for "messin' up" a factory anniversary edition. Truth is, HD made a thousand of the things, they won't miss this one unit in historic scheme of things.
