Cool A Few ??

Wanting to change pipes and air cleaner on the 05 FXDWG sometime in the next few months.I noticed it does not have oxy sensors in the pipes and it is fuel inj. can I do this on my own or will it need mapped,I would like to change pipes first or maybe get some slip-on muffs ,just trying to get a plan of attack at this time Thanks and have a great day

No it doesn't have oxy sensors but it is fuel injected in an open-loop system.
Yes, you'll need to do a 'map' change changing pipes and A/C.
You can accomplish this with several different methods....
SERT
Power Commander
or the different fuelers on the market today.

I prefer the TTS mastertune or SERT method but can be more intimidating.
The power Commander is a good and easy method of getting done what you need.

If I just change the pipes will it still need done?I like your pipes r those V&H striaght shooters.

They are V&H Big Shot Staggereds,, but yes you will be changing the airflow of the engine.
Just changing the pipes will make it run leaner than an already lean bike.
Can possibly get away with it for a short time but I wouldn't push it.
If ya can afford it do the complete Stage 1..pipes, A/C, and some sort of fueling device. It really wakes up the machine.
