floor boards on Wide Glide
Anyone ever put floor boards on a WG that has forward controls , I'd like to see a pic of how it would look for mine and where I can get some.

No one yet, I think if it was possible
they would make the long rides that much more enjoyable.

HD # 50601-01 floorboard kit for Dyna is an obsolete part number. Do a search on this part number and you will learn lots. I understand you can get the parts separate that comprise the kit but will take some research and $700 or so. Good luck!!

I use Kury wide pegs w/stirrups along with highway pegs gives me a great range of motion for those 300mi rides.

I have floorboards on my 02 WG - both rider and passenger. The passenger boards are HD. The rider boards are these: (about half way down the page - Adjustable Floorboard Kit - part number is CS190505)
http://www.cas4.com/Forward-Controls...oorboards.html
Easy install - remove the footpeg, bolt the floorboards in place.
I'll see if I can find some good pics of my bike with the floorboards installed.

Surprising how the floor boards don't take away from the great looking ride, thanks for sharing.

Yeah.... when I was looking at the bike to buy it, I was thinking I'd probably go back to pegs, but, once I started riding it, I really like the boards, so they're staying. Gives you a lot of options on moving your feet around.
I noticed the frame has the mounting locations for mids (for the other Dyna models). I was thinking of buying the brackets and some pegs, just to give me another place for me feet on long trips. I found someone on another forum who had done that - keeps the mid pegs folded up most times.

I got the mid control brackets off ebay for 40.00 Chrome- and put some mini pilots on them.

Yeah - standard forward controls. The board bolt in place of the peg, so, if you add an extension kit, I can't imagine why they wouldn't work as well.

I'm not sure who made them but I just bought a pair of full size floor boards that bolt right on (in) to where the front foot peg bolts in. I wasn't quite sure myself how well they'd work or how they would look but for the price I couldn't pass them up. I bolted them on last night and rode 25 Hi-way miles today and so far they are far exceeding my expectations. I thought I'd end up taking them back off but so far so good. Pics to come later tonight when I get home from work.
