Kewl. I am jealous. I am hoping that in 3 years that will be my retirement present to myself. Heck maybe in 3 years you will be up for a new one!

Fred, Congrats and enjoy.
Dave, I'm not usually a fan of the RK (just usually not my style i guess), but Dang that is one sweet looking bike.
that shield really makes it more sporty looking. I love it.

Thanks. I wanted something a little more sporty than my road glide. However I wanted the handling a touring bike offers, so the King fit the bill. Its a blast to ride the mountain roads around me. Love my fatboy, but it does not have enough lean angle, I drag the boards all the time.

The Road King LOOKS GREAT!! Sorry I have not taken pics from my phone yet. Too busy smiling and shining. Figures I get the new scooter and the weather goes bad on me! Do not mind the cold but the rain is no fun... Did manage one ride with the wife She loves it almost as much as I do!!! The Anniv Colors are really sharp and it shines up very well! Only RATs on the whole deal is that HD stopped those little display keys that did come with the CVOs. Not that it matters much just a nice touch, Kind of a dumb way to cut costs IM). This bike handles like it is much lighter than my 2010 Limited; no idea why it is a heavier biker afterall. Like the motor runs well. The seat is great. Adjusted the back seat to fit the wife and she is loving the new setup. First change was those nasty cheep hinges!!! I know they are old school but really? On a CVO lets get real. As soon as a get a chance will get her outside in the sun and I will get some pics online. Hoping to hang onto this one for many years cause changing wives and bikes at same time tends to get pricey!!!

Thanks, my first Road King. I have had a few Road glides and still have my 12 CVO road glide.
Going to hot rod the King.
Have 259E cams for it, 10.5:1 pistons, 5.3 injectors, woods directional lifters, sending the heads off to be ported and polished. Throttle body going to HPI to become a 55mm. Starting the tear down right after Christmas and will have everything shipped before the new year.

Hey Fredflhtk,
I just bought a 2013 Ultra and found that my wife (small at about 100 lb) is cramped in the passenger seat. This is due to the thicker passenger backrest with lumbar support.
In your 12-11 post you said:
"Adjusted the back seat to fit the wife..."
What adjustment did you make? I can't move the tour pak back and I could only move the rider backrest forward a half inch.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey sixpak
Several tour pac relocation kits on the market. Believe HD make one also. Moves the tour pas back a couple of inches.
