Anyone using the weather feature on their Garmin GPS

Wondering about the weather service and pricing plans, Xm site clear as mud! Do i need to mount the external antenna? THANKS

WFO75080 is on a distinguished road
I use the weather feature on both my bikes with the 665.
You have to use the antennae.
It's a great feature and you can jew them down on price if you work on it.

I use the weather channel when traveling.
Both of my FLHTCUI's have it built into their radio systems already.

I use the weatherbug app on my phone for domestic travel. It interfaces with the phone's GPS to give you location and a radar overlay. One of my favorite features is it includes windspeed from various NOAA sensors that layover the map as well. If we are talking off the beaten path and no data services available the satellite service is very good. Some friends use it on their rides and like it a lot. And yes the XM service is very much negotiable...
