Which slight mods to 2003 CVO?

Hello:

My riding buddy has a FLHRSEI2 2003 CVO Road King which is stock
He is willing to:
1) get a Mastertune TTS.
2) change cams
3) get Fullsac TrueDuals kit

My questions are:

Will he improve something just by doing a good V-Tune with the TTS?
Also is there a better cam choice other than the SE-255 the CVO supposedly has? considering he rides 2-up mostly? I have heard good things about Zipper's Red Shift 575TC 103 CVO cam

Your comments are welcomed. Bear in mind that these would not be my money so I have to err on the safe side. And remember just cams, no headwork.

From what I have read, the Red Shift 575 TC103 CVO Cam seems to be a good choice.

Yep...that was the cam from Zippers for that engine. Made to be a bolt-in. I would think the cam swap, along with the other items you mentioned (and good tuning), should give him a noticable increase in power for the monies spent....more of an increase than tuning on the stock CVO cam.

The Zippers and Freedom 575's are real faves for the 103 CVO's on the CVO forum .
I'm running a 255 in my 103 , I would suggest a 54H as a better alternative for a .550 range cam , runs cooler and has broader power band than the 255.
