2010 - CVO Street Glide - Comments?
Well, a few months back I put a deposit down on a 2010 CVO Street Glide. I was hoping for a black one, but it appears it is only available in 3 colors. I guess if I had a choice, I'd go with the "Spiced Rum" - almost looks like a deep burgundy. Anyone able to tell if it is running dual exhaust or a two into one? Curious about the "Agitator Wheels" as well - are they fully chromed, or blacked out with 9 chrome spokes?
Your thoughts, suggestions, input - GREATLY appreciated!
Mike

Exhaust appears to be 2-1-2. Wheels look to be blacked out also. The paint scheme is very much like the 04 / 05 SE Electra Glides. Nice scooters but not grabbing me.

Thanks JW.......... Did some more digging, and you are correct on both counts........I also agree - not sure if it's "grabbing" me (pinstripping for me). I think I need to see one in person.........

I think that i would be wary of the 110" engines. there are a few bikes with 103s

As long as the bike is custom mapped by a good* tuner, it'll cool 'em off, and thus the heat related issues are non-existent, at least from what we have seen.

I have seen one in person "Spiced Rum"... Looks great to me. I love the pinstriping, gold leaf stripes and paint color. Only thing is I do painting and pinstriping for a living. Ive been gonna do my 2008 streetglide like the old screaming eagle ultra's (pinstriping only that. But I guess they beat me to it again. Ya get to many out there with the same exact lay out it kinda kills it a little. But I like the pinstriping style and I did on the ultra screaming eagle as well. All in all its a great looking bike that I dont think will get old any time soon.

I waited on the SESG for years, having had a CVO Wide Glide I was hoping for a bit better job of it. The inner fairing should have been color matched at least..the wheels aren't doing it for me. The Tequila Sunrise paint does however look stunning.

I agree. With a good map mine is running much cooler than stock. From the MoCo the map is way to lean.

I had waited for years for an SESG. Last year when the SERG came out my salesman buddy talked me into giving it a try. I am gald I did. The SERG feels roomier with the fairing farther away.
However this years SESG is sharp, especially the spiced rum.
They did have one upgrade for 2010 I really like, its no longer bag extensions, now it is one peice bags that are deeper.
