Rush Mufflers- Opinions
I have a 2007 CVO Dyna. Its all stock and I was thinking of putting on a set of Rush Muflers with 2" baffles. Has anyone used Rush mufflers? I hear the quality is good. I dont have a SERT or Power Commander. Just want a little more throaty sound.

I just put a set of their mufflers with the 2" baffles on. It sounds pretty good, but not loud enough that I get harassed by the local cops.

I am told that 1.5 baffles do not need anything else but any baffle bigger will have to have a SERT added. I was also told that they are longer then stock and the exhaust shields will not fit. Does anyone know if this is true? Can anyone post pics?

I got their baloney cut slip ons, and they were longer than stock. I don't know about the heat shields, probably depends on your specific model of bike. I got new ones on mine, but only because I wanted powdercoated shields and mufflers.

I have the slip ons. They sound better after you "break them in". I also noticed they sounded better as the HP and Tq numbers went up on my engine. Right now I am at 10.5 to 1 compression and 107hp with 112 ftlbs tq.

I have the rush slip ons with 1.75 baffles on an 08 ultra and they are plenty loud, but as someone said above not loud enough to get harassed. Very high quality product and cheaper than most too.

Well, it's not a Dyna, but I have the 2" slip ons on the Ultra, and I love the way they sound. I've gotten a lot of comps on em, and a bud of mine even put em on his Street Glide after hearing em.
I was lucky, and they had em on a bike at bike week, and I got to hear em before buying.

I had Rush 2.0 slip-ons on my '07 FXSTC. Sounded good & didn't change the a/f ratio (dyno tested).
But.....the chrome sucked on the set I had.
Switched to the Khrome Werks HP+ and I'm much happier! Better sound and the chrome finish is excellent.

Rush 2" mufflers
So my old heat shields wont work on the Rush? And do I have to buy a SERT with 2" baffles? And what if you dont put any heat shiels on the mufflers?

I had the 2" baffles. Used the stock heat shields.
The a/f ratio was the same before and after installation of the mufflers. Dyno tested.
