Are catalytic converters in all '08 CVO mufflers?

I'm considering buying a set of '08 CVO slip-on mufflers for my '09 FLHR, and am wondering whether all the CVOs in '08 came with catalytic converters in the mufflers. The seller claims the cans don't contain cats but I want to make sure before committing.

Thanks for any insights on this.

08 CVO mufflers do indeed have cats in them. Not a big deal to remove. PM me for details.

Thanks but I ended up not bidding as I wasn't sure about the cats... Still looking for cans just a bit louder than stock '09s.

...

On the '08s the cats are part of the 'stock' internals. Remove the baffle, out comes the cat.

I highly recommend Steve at Fullsac. (previous post)

Steve's 1 3/4" baffles for the 09's will do the trick. Mine is just loud enough now to drown out the intake sucking noise!!! I like the mellow sound but somebody behind me said they bark pretty good when you get on it. I cant tell because my SERG goes faster than the speed of sound!!!!!!

Some CVO models (the Dyna for sure) have the cats in the mufflers. Others have the cats in the header pipes.
