S.E. 110 HAngs at 5000/5600 no power??

That title should read 5500/5600 RPMs BTW my bike is a 2007 Street Glide with the 110 S.E. Dealer installed kit...

Guys I have a 110 with S.E. Roller Rocker arms/Lifters High flow filter , Vance and Hines True Duals and Rineharts 2 1/4 performance mufflers...
I have the latest april 110 map with the Auto tune etc...
My plm. is I can get it to go through the gears 1,2,3,4, to 6100 no plms. smooth as silk....

when I shift into 5 top speed is 119 mph and the RPMs go to around 5500 /5600 and thats it it won`t pull any farther shift into 6 same deal hangs at same rpm and top speed remains about 119 mph No dynos where I am at and Rev. limiter is set at 6200???

I know this bike should atleast hit 125 mph if not more like 128 mph or so...

What do ya all think may be my problem.. as I said it is nice and smooth to there no pinging etc etc..Btw.. Wheels are set at 42500 in program correct.

Any thoughts Kind of piss that this is all its got Thanks alot...

My guess is speed limited at 119.

my guess is running out of power to pull those gears. spin forth up to redline if you can, it should be over 120. then go to 6th, if bike slows down, its a lack of power.

if you cant hit the limiter in 4th, something is wrong, or serious lack of power.

i have seen a couple of the newest maps for tmax that are lean in mid and upper ranges. last one i loaded showed a target of 13.8 and was leaner in some areas. wouldnt hurt to load one of the older maps with a tartget of 13.1 just to see.

Don't understand. If the bike hit 5500 in 5th at 119mph, how can it hit same rpm/speed in 6th?
If you have stock overall gearing you should hit 129 mph at 5500 in 5th and 152 in 6th. Something doesn't compute. Speedo kaput?

I run the gears up in 1,2,3,4 to 6000 and at 4 it is at or around 199, 117 or so shift into 5 same rpms now and 119 shift into 6 same rpms and same 119 mph ...

After shifting into 5 from 6000 rpms in 4th the revs drop to around 5500 rpm and the speed stays at 119 and won`t rev higher and sift into 6 th the same thing stays around 5500,56000 rpms and smae 119 mph doesn`t matter if on a flat road or down a small slope..???

VH makes a good point, as i was concentrating on a power issue, i missed the realationship of speed/rpm.

that said, and this is a long shot because of the exact rpm in 5th and sixth, but possible clutch slip? and lack of power?

Or speedo off. If the clutch were slipping the R's would rise in 6th. Weird.

thats one reason for my disclaimer, but i dont think that motor will pull 5500 rpm in sixth gear. it would surprise me if it would pull 5500 in fifth.

800+ lb bike with what? 95-100 tq?

Get this thing on a dyno and verify speedo/tach readings as a starting point. A few runs in 5th/6th gear under 50% or more load will tell you the story about clutch slippage etc.
No point in trying to solve it over the internt with no data/facts

you don't have enough to pull that long gear.
Either more power or more gear.
By gearing down, believe it or not, you will probably be able to aggressively pull up to a higher mph.
