Getting Bersa Thunder 45 for carry

I'm getting a Bersa Thunder 45 for carry.
I've done a little research in holsters/pouches/etc but am having a little trouble finding something decent (in my opinion of course) for me because I am left handed.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Left me rephrase that.

Does anyone in their "right" mind have any opinions on holsters for said handgun.

The Bersa is a tough one.

I have a Bersa - love the gun. Have shot about 1,000 rounds through it without one failure.

However, good luck finding a holster. I found an Italian made leather under the arm holster. It took about 9 months to finally get it delivered.

There's just no huge market for Bersa holsters I suppose?

There is one holster on the Bersa sight. That's all I know specifically for it. The rest are something like an Uncle Mike's universal holster.

take it to a shop and try it in several different holsters...it might fit well in a holster that was not designed specifically for it...

Actually some of the generic holsters in hte above Ebay link are decent holsters. You will most likely not find any Bersa Model Specific holsters due to popularity and lack of demand for them.

Go to a good gun shop, ask at the counter if you can bring you pistol in to check fit, let them check to make sure it is safe and go knock yourself out in the Ballistic Nylon area....Someplace like Soprtsmens Warehouse has the biggest selection.

You might get lucky and find a semi tight fitting leather holster witht he right length for the barrel. Wit some work, steaming and leather lotion you can stretch the leather to fit the gun.

Soak the leather to get damp, then steam to soft the leather. In mean time oil hte gun well (exterior surface and wrap tightly in Saran Wrap or other Plastic Kitchen Wrap. When Leather is pliable insert pistol and start working leather with your fingers or another smooth solid tool steaming as needed and reinserting the gun.

Do that a few times until you are happy and alway check for moisture on the pistol. Left dry over night then apply a good coat of Leather Lotion and allow to dry.

Mike I think the walther, and some of the Barretta's are close in size and shape to the Bersa. Maybe there is something made specifically for them that would work.

Maybe it's because there's no huge market for Bersa firearms I suppose?

Sorry Mungo, that one was just waiting for someone to pick it up. The devil made me do it!

Fred, didn't mean to dis ya man. It just bothers me when people assume that, especially in this day and age, someone can't use a search engine AND that ebay is the be-all and end-all of shopping online.
(gee, I hope my dislike of ebay isn't coming through...)

I did find some decent info on youtube but haven't followed up on it yet. I'll post it for anyone that may follow this thread.

BTW, that Bersa Thunder 45 is one helluva nice handgun for one helluva nice price.

'sawright? 'sawright. I plugged it into Google and ebay is what came up. There were so many examples on ebay I couldn't figure out what you didn't like. I was forced to assume you hadn't looked. My apologies. What didn't you like about all the choices?

Fobus has a really decent paddle holster for the Bersa .380 in right or left hand. But they don't have one for the 45.
