Sig P226

Used to be an avid shooter, mostly IPSC, but it's been a long time since I've been active.

Have a P226 two-tone that I bought several years ago. It's a .357 Sig Auto that's still NIB/never been shot.

Own several pistols, of which a .45ACP Sig is my favorite. Have been thinking about selling the .357 P226 to buy some goodies for the Ultra, and just wondering if these are still desirable pistols.

Thanks for any feedback!

I have a Sig P229. I originally bought it chambered for .357 Sig, then bought a drop-in .40-caliber barrel so it shoots both. Yours could, too, if a new owner so desired. Could be a selling point. I consider my P229 a very high-quality pistol. Your P226 is too. NIB, it should be worth much of its original value, probably more. MSRP on a new one is $1,058.

Check out www.gunbroker.com to see what the used 226's are selling for. You can sell it on there as well. You should be able to get $500 to $600 for it...just guessing. I recently sold a factory refurbished 229 .40 SW $550 plus tax.
