Joe Horn Cleared by Grand Jury

I still haven't heard all the details regarding this shooting, the article even says he shot them in the back but I haven't seen anything to verify that accusation. I'm wondering if the writer wasn't taking a little artisitic liberty when he wrote it. If it is true I can't imagine that using lethal force would have been justified. If however Mr Horns statement is true and they approached him on his property that's a different story. I'd really like to see all the evidence presented in this case.

Texas law helped clear man in prowler shooting
Ever since he fatally shot two men he suspected of burglarizing his next-door neighbor's home, 62-year-old Joe Horn has been both praised and vilified for his actions.

I hope this puts the fear of God into the pond scum detritus miscreants out there thinking about breaking and entering into someone's home.

I'm all for helping people in time of need but they need to follow the right path for help.

Me, too... but I don't think those two were in need of anything other than shootin'. Notice they were illegals from Colombia, and one had already been deported once for drug trafficking. I doubt they were just trying to feed their poor starving kids.
