don't you get what they were doing? If they had actually been HELPING people they wouldn't have had to put on their swat gear and feel all macho. They were confiscating guns from good citizens who wouldn't shoot at them. If they had gone into the "bad" part of town they would be in danger. and you LEOs on the forum won't be able to convince the rest of us otherwise. and where are those gun collections now? at the PD storeroom or at the officer's homes now in their collection?
Yet another good reason to keep your guns away from the troopers.

As I have said before, LEOs want us not to be armed . Many will tell you that they support you as a gun owner(if you are their neighbor, but the prevailing attitude is "that we(the LEOs) should have guns and no one else should have them".

Many of you dislike Dems because many dems have sponsered gun collections and roundups. The NRA has some Rep friends, but when push comes to shove, all of the lawmakers want to take them from us. They want us to believe that a safer society is one without guns. It is safer, for them only.

Don't believe them, if you own an old gun that has been in the family, don't tell anyone you have it and keep that one in a seperate place so that if they do come for yours, you can hold one back. That would not make you an outlaw, it would make you a patriot.

I hunted and owned guns all my life.through the drinking yrs.i accumulated several dui's.I never been in a wreck with anyone else, never hurt anyone else.in o3, went to a gun show and fell in love with a glock.i said do the paper work.I was denied.I was furious.called the atf, state ,everyone I could think of to see what I have done to lose this privelage.Finaly got my rap sheet and the dui in 99 I could have got 2 yrs. That was it.I'am working on getting a lawyer to get it pardoned. The lawyer and sheriff says it should be no problem. If that falls through, i guess my wife will be owning some.I want my son to grow up the same way as I.Hunting teaches a lot of responsibility among others.Dont want the act of drinking f*&^% up my rights to own.
