You would think so but this society is a real mess and just doesn't get it that losing our Constitution and the many freedoms we've had is dangerous. As long as they can still go to the mall, get some coffee, watch American Idol, get their hair/nails done, etc. they don't seem to have a care in the world about such things.

I just got an email back from a tree hugg'n friend of mine out in Seattle who though Hussein Obama's ideas were the best he's every heard.

OMG!!! Said we're spending too much on defense right now and this would balance everything. He said that the Russians and Chinese would now talk to us and disarm the world.

I think he's still got residual left over from Woodstock..!!!!

He talks about Russia - and Russia can be a thorn, but China and the Muslim world are our enemies. Methinks they're not of a mind to do much talking until we're either broke and third rate; and/or dead or subservient to Allah.

Cut Future Combat Systems and defense spending at a time when we have all but bankrupted our military infrastructure. China and Russia will respect us for it and be our friends...? China is modernizing the biggest military in the world, converting it to an expeditionary force, and Putin is positioning himself to have power for life. Stoopid.
