Any good biker bars in St Louis area?

I recently moved to Illinois (about 12 miles from St Louis). Anyone know any good biker friendly bars in the area?

Some biker friendly bars in the area (among many others) are Jack's Iron Horse in Bridgeton, MO, The Sand Bar in Alton, IL, Shady Jack's Saloon on Broadway in St. Louis City, TJ's in Pevely, MO, Main Street salooon in Waterloo, IL, Wild Goose Saloon in Alton, IL, Double Deuce Bar in Caholkia, IL and Good Tymes Bar & Grill in Dupo, IL. Noticed you're from IL, so several mentioned above. Can't vouch for them, but Jack's Iron Horse and Shady Jack's are bars where a large biker contingent is always present.

Can't believe you forgot about Fast Eddy's Bonaire up in Alton! Big biker turn out on Sundays especially. Stop in for some food and real cold beer then ride the river road. Nice way to blow an afternoon.

TJ's sponsors a lot of marble runs. They do a state park run that is usually very good riding. Drinks provided on all stops and a bbq halfway thru. All comes with ride donation. They donate the proceeds to various local charities.

Sorry for the choppy sentences but my comma key isn't working thanks to a wine donation from my wife

Talking

Loading Dock in Grafton, IL, on the River Road
St. Charles county has Terry and Kathy's and?or Dave and Jackies , both in Defiance MO
Washington MO has Marquardts, there's lots of others
You moved to a good area for riding, anywhere up and down the Great River Road is good

What do you mean? From those wearing colors or your colors? I don't wear colors and have never had any problems. See very few in colors, and those that I do I give plenty of room.

No...I don't wear colors. I just moved to the area from NJ. The major clubs out there we HA, Pagan's, Breed, etc. While I've never had problems with any of them, there were just certain places that people recommend you stay out of.

Nothing against patch wearers at all. I went on a ride over the summer that had quite a few Boozefighters riding as well, so I'm assuming they have a chapter in the area. They seemed like a great bunch. If I were to "hang-around" with a club, they would be my first choice. However, I have a few years left in the military so I really don't see that happening for a while.

Thanks for your replies!

I can fill you in

Woody,

I'm a retired military member in your area and can fill you in on the Boozefighters MC. I work on base. If you want to know more about the area and it's biker community, stop in at WRE.

Recommend Shady Jacks, Fast Eddies (Alton), or TJ's (Pevely). You won't see colors very much but don't anticipate problems if you or others wear them generally.

Go to Teds motorcyvle in Alton and get a list of rides.
They go somewhere just about every weekend.
Just drive through alton on the main street and its non stop biker bars all the way to grafton.
Wild goose saloon just past the loading dock.
