Chicago 05' CW Motorcyle Show

Show targets the average motorcycle consumer of products and services. Major manufactures are present but smaller marques are not. A majority of vendors there have products aimed towards the V-twin market and consumer. However, Goldwing owners wouldn't be dispointed.
More motorcycle companies and less vendor "no-shows" will only improve the the overall rating of the show. Major motorcycle marques (HD, Triumph, Norton, Honda, MotoGuzzi, BMW...) are present. I was disapointed when a a number of vendors listed on the floor plan were "no-shows". Planning a motorcycle vaction, then you won't find much here.
It's was a pleasent surprise to see a number of custom V-twin "chopper" builders with displays at the show. The v-twin community was represented and better than "I" would expect at a industry type show. Triumph display was well attended and generated a lot of interest. Plenty of custome choppers to druel over.
In my opinion, it was worth the 12 bucks. It's a nice way to spend a cold February day in the Midwest hanging with people that love motorcycles too.
