Next week is my wifes anniversary is next week and we always take a week out in sept adjacent to labor day. so I have 10 days off. If we head up your way 1st stop will be harley museum milwaukee. then on to Minnesota.
1st stop there will be Mall of America. I don't recall being there except on duty in a tractor trailer. My tranny went out in some little town fashioned after german a villages. don't remember the name.
So could you please reccomend some places that makes minnesota stand out. What's the weather like this time of year? Thanks in advance.

Weather is going to really cool down at night. Have both warm and cold gear with you. If you are in Mpls head north to Bemidji and check out Itasca State park, it's where the mississippi river begins. It is nice riding anywhere in northern mn with all the lakes and trees.
I grew up in MN and miss those summer and fall days.

Duluth to Grand Marias is a beautiful drive. Bring warm cloths. Follow the Mississippi River either on the MN side or the WI side.

Take I-90 to Lacrosse and follow the river up to Red Wing. It's a great ride and there's lots to see and do.

Sorry to have overlooked this. Hope you are both treated to our best "Minnesota Nice" and that you come back again.

Let us know what ride you chose?

Got to St.Paul today. Having a great time people seem to be strangely nice. What's up with that? Is there something in the water I'm feeling even nicer since I've been here. Thanks For the response.

Think that's strange? Here in Manitoba (Province) our license plates are stamped "Friendly Manitoba". It's just the way it is the further North you come.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your ride and please be safe.
